Professional Sword Master
Andy Wilkinson is qualified by world-wide recognised governing bodies and is a World Title Winning Theatrical Sword Master; the only professional sword master to do so, currently, in the United Kingdom. Andy is a Member of The British Academy of Fencing (founded in 1540 by King Henry VIII) and is its Film & Theatre representative.
Andy is a qualified 3 weapon “Olympic Style” fencing coach and teaches classes and individuals at all ages in all three weapons – foil, epee and sabre. Additionally, Andy can provide specific intensive courses for a specific role or goal. Andy can take your entire cast or individual(s) from never holding a sword or weapon before to being a warrior and or hero/heroine. And perhaps more importantly, look the part!

Andy is a unique swordsman - not just a qualified fencing coach. Andy is a respected, go to, sword master when the production requires in depth experience and a deep knowledge of historical styles of combat – armed and unarmed. Andy is able to recreate authentic fights across different styles of weapons and periods, and keep everyone safe at the same time!
